Terms & Conditions
Eligibility - We ask that all travelers be at least 18 years of age, unless prior approval for minors has been granted by Wanderlust Bike Tours. We ask that all participants be in reasonably good shape, physically and mentally, and to understand that this type of adventure vacation can require participants to be flexible with changes, should the need arise. We ask you to bring your sense of adventure and the willingness to explore other cultures. All guests must sign a Release of Liability form. Participants who fail to sign the form will not be allowed to participate, and will forfeit the full price of the trip.
Reservations and Deposits - To book your trip we require a $400 deposit per person. The balance to be paid in full 30 days prior to the start date of the trip. We only accept personal or business checks. All tour prices are quoted in USD (United States Dollar). All tour prices are based upon double occupancy. A single supplement charge will be added for those singles that wish to have their own private room. Tour prices do not include airfare, lunches, or drinks with dinner. Once a deposit is received, you will receive a confirmation and further details regarding the tour.
Travel Insurance - We highly recommend that each participant have cancellation and travel insurance to cover illness, accident, loss of luggage, or other unforeseen occurrences. In addition, we also recommend travelers health insurance to supplement your own medical insurance. Wanderlust Bike Tours does not provide travel insurance or health/accident insurance. This is strictly the participant’s responsibility. You can visit www.travelinsured.com for more information on travel insurance.
Responsibility - Wanderlust Bike Tours assumes no responsibility for any agency or person who fails to provide services that have been contracted for any of its tours. We will make every effort to find alternative solutions. Wanderlust Bike Tours will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items during the course of the tour.
Changes - Although all accommodations are booked and confirmed before we leave, Wanderlust Bike Tours reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control.
Tour Cancellation Guarantee - In the unlikely event that Wanderlust Bike Tours would have to cancel a tour, all participants will receive a 100% refund, which constitutes full settlement. However, we can not be responsible for any personal expenses as a result of the tour cancellation, such as airline tickets, hotels, and meals. Again, we highly recommend trip insurance to cover the unforseen.
Cancellation Policy - Wanderlust Bike Tours cancellation policy is as follows: More than 91 days prior to the start date, we will refund your deposit less a $100 per person service fee. Between 61 and 90 days, you will lose your deposit. Between 31 and 60 days, you will lose 50% of the tour price per person. Cancellation within 30 days of the start date, you will forfeit the entire tour price. We highly recommend travel insurance and hope that you understand that this policy is strictly enforced. We too have these policies imposed upon us by the hotels and restaurants we will be using. All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation fees will be assessed based on the day the written notice is received. Wanderlust Bike Tours will not refund any money due to late arrivals or early departures from a tour. Additional single supplement fees are considered part of the total cost of the tour and are subject to the same cancellation fee rules. Wanderlust Bike Tours reserves the right to raise or lower a tour price based upon the euro/dollar exchange rate. Participants will be told at the time of booking what the exchange rate is.
Limitations of Liability - Wanderlust Bike Tours is not liable for any additional expenses incurred that are not specified as part of the tour description. This includes but is not limited to: hotels, meals, and transportation. Wanderlust Bike Tours will not be liable for any bodily injury or property damage as a result of physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared. Participants will not hold Wanderlust Bike Tours liable for forces of nature, terrorism, consumption of alcoholic beverages, or the adequacy of medical attention once provided. Wanderlust Bike Tours reserved the right to make changes as to accommodations to improve the quality of the trip. Route changes are also at the discretion of Wanderlust Bike Tours, as the guide deems necessary. All guests of Wanderlust Bike Tours give implied consent to use photographs or film records of its trips for promotional purposes, without remuneration.
